FIRST POST!

I'm a perl developer at heart but a Java one by circumstance. Unfortunately I don't see that changing anytime soon, so you can expect mostly Java-related musings.

For work I use a lot of open source Java software and contribute to CGLIB and FreeMarker on a regular basis. I also wrote a Java PNG decoding library which is available here.

Obviously this blog is running on blojsom (thanks Dave and Mark), but what may not be so obvious is that it is using a custom FreeMarker dispatcher and calendar implementation. Once I get my act together I'll try to make them available (if anyone cares).
